The first webinar will take a foundational overview of the diverse realm of coaching many – team and group coaching. We will explore:
- What is group coaching? What is team coaching? How do they differ with each other?
- How does coaching teams and groups differ from coaching and facilitation?
- What do you the core coaching competencies sound like/look like in the team and group coaching context?
- Half a dozen best practices of team and group coaching
This webinar will be lead by Coaching Many: Best Practices for Group and Team Coaching author, Jennifer Britton. She will also be following up with our 2nd webinar on Group Coaching the next week.
Webinar #2 – Group Coaching – Processes, Best Practices and Techniques

In the second webinar of the series we are going to take a deeper dive into the realm of group coaching. Coaches can work with groups face-to-face, or virtually, in organizations or in public groups, Coaches may be bringing groups together from across an organization or a geographic area. In this webinar, Effective Group Coaching Author, Jennifer Britton explores these topics:
- The range of what group coaching can look like – public, corporate, in-person, virtual
- Benefits of group coaching (for clients, coaches and organizations)
- Core processes across the group coaching conversation
- Activities at core stages of the group coaching process
- 4 approaches/techniques for group coaching
Bio, Jennifer Britton:
From Corporate Boardrooms, to South American jungles, from Canada’s Lakeland beauty, to hospitals, coach and author Jennifer Britton has spent the bulk of her career supporting better conversations and learning with groups and teams. Jennifer is a well-known author and thought leader in the area of group and team coaching.
She is the author of five books including the Coaching Business Builder Workbook and Plannerwhich was released in summer 2018. Her first two books, Effective Group Coaching (Wiley, 2009) and From One to Many: Best Practices for Team and Group Coaching (Jossey-Bass, 2013) have been used as a required and recommended book by many coach training schools. Since 2006 she has worked with hundreds of coaches through the ICF CCE approved Group Coaching Essentials and Advanced Group and Team Coaching programs.
A former team leader and Director with the United Nations, Jennifer returns to her roots as a virtual team leader, weaving it with her last 15 years experience as a virtual coach and facilitator, in her 2017 book, Effective Virtual Conversations.
Jennifer was awarded a Prism Award for Excellence in Coaching in fall 2016 for her work in developing a coaching culture within healthcare. In fall 2017 this program was further awarded an Award of Excellence in Curriculum Design from the Institute for Performance and Learning.
Jennifer is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Board Certified Coach (BCC), and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. She holds a Bachelor of Science, and a Masters of Environmental Studies
